FAST FACTS:
The 24HourProject is a street photography project that aims to document the human condition of multiple cities during one single day in real time. Photographers share one photo per hour during twenty four hours. The idea was formulated by Renzo Grande, a photographer who focuses his passion and sensitivity to document daily street stories with a sense of perpetual iconic emotions, and Sam Smotherman, a Los Angeles-based photographer.

Started last 2012, the idea began with a personal project to document and compare two different cities for one full day. Accordingly that same year, other photographers got interested and started to take off the first edition of the project with 65 photographers in 24 cities, the project was multiplied about 5 times on 2013 with 340 official photographers in 132 cities and was multiplied again on 2014 reaching 900 photographers in 312 cities from 72 countries. Last year 2015 was also a success where a total of 2030 photographer in 650 cities from 101 countries gathered and joined the annual tradition.

Through the 24HourProject's mission, market and global exhibitions, the project is said to reach millions of individuals annually showcasing the human connection of images and real live stories.
