Camera Club of Cagayan de Oro Officially Launches the GLIMPSE- A Photo Exhibit of Misamis Oriental

"GLIMPSE- A Photo Exhibit of Misamis Oriental" officially launched last September 11, 2017 (Monday) at the Activity Center, Centrio Mall, Ayala, Cagayan de Oro City.

"GLIMPSE- A Photo Exhibit of Misamis Oriental is a three-day photo exhibit (September 11-13, 2017), and presented by the Camera Club of Cagayan de Oro- A Photography group composed of Professional, Hobbyist, and Amateur Photographers that aims to foster the appreciation and understanding of photography, promoting camaraderie amongst fellows, and encourages the growth of technical knowledge and artistic visiion through photographic imagery. 
The Associations of Tourism Officers of Misamis Oriental (ATOM).

GLIMPSE was launched in celebration of the Tourism Week of the province of Misamis Oriental, and in partnership with the Tourism Department of the province. The Tourism Week celebration highlights the promotion of Misamis Oriental wherein its direction and flagship program banks on the core principle of good governance envisioning the province to be "the leading eco tourism destination" and center of economic growth.

GLIMPSE- A Photo Exhibit of Misamis Oriental is the first official photo exhibit of the Camera Club of Cagayan de Oro. Through this photo exhibit, the Camera Club aims to showcase the Province of Misamis Oriental as A Tourism Destination by providing a glimpse of some of beautiful sceneries, spots, and culture and arts of the province through photo exhibit wherein giving the public a bigger view of the endless possibilities of fun to experience as they travel and explore Misamis Oriental.

Such destinations include the Sagpulon Falls located in the Municipality of Jasaan, the Sport of Skim-boarding in Opol Municipality, the Camhanaich (Early morning twilight), and the Divine Mercy Shrine of El Salvador City, and the endemic and migratory birds found in Misamis Oriental. Other destinations includes Villanueva, Naawan, Alubijid, and Balingasag.
