Team PaTsada announced as the 2nd Placer for this Year's Juan For Fun Backpacker Challenge

After 7 days of awesome adventure and discoveries, the highly anticipated Juan For Fun Backpacker Challenge on its 6th year and presented by Cebu Pacific Air (Philippines' leading carrier) was officially folded with the announcement of the Ultimate Backpacker Team today July 24, 2017 (Monday).
Team PaTsada from Cagayan de Oro City
TEAM JUANTON, the youngest team for this year's competition composed of Dominic, Chyn, and Geia from Ateneo de Davao University and DLSU-Manila was announced as the Grand Prize Winner receiving the One-year travel-all-you-can pass. Aside from this grand prize, they will also get to win prizes in special fun challenges from Juan For Fun's co-presentors Jack 'n Jill Chippy, and Smart Communications, Inc.

On the other hand, the young travelers from Cagayan de Oro known as Team PaTsada composed of three students representing the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) namely Roniel Baguhin, Renee Jane Barrio, and James Jay Paclibar was announced as the 2nd Placer for this year's competition.

Team PaTsada traveled from Manila to Busuanga (Coron), Cebu, Bacolod, and Davao with a given budget of P40,000.00, their gadgets, and Cebu Pacific flights in hand. The Team maximized and used up all their travel allowance and gathered an awesome adventure and fun-filled experiences during the competition. 

They experienced island hopping at Coron, Palawan, and visited the Maquinit Hot spring, went to Cebu for Sirao Gardens and Lantaw, taking a moment at Basilica del Minore del Santo Nino de Cebu, Fort San Pedro, visited Ya-San Diego Ancestral House, tasted Cebu's lechon at Zubuchon then traveled to Bacolod City for the Campuestohan Highland and experienced the Sky biking, and hiked to Mambukal's Seven Waterfalls. 

They also visited the Ruins in Talisay, Negros Occidental. Aside of the Team PaTsada conquered Davao City and visited the Japanese Tunnel, GAP Farming Resort, and tasted Davao's Barbeque. They went to Lon Wa Buddhist Temple, Philippine Eagle Farm, and D' Bone Collector Museum. In Manila, they went to see the KM 0 at Rizal Park, Chinese Garden, and tried the Pedicab ride at Instramuros, the Walled City.

On the other hand, Team Barbie of Davao City was announced as the Third Placer while both Team Phun of Bacolod City and Team Malackai of Baguio City received the Consolation Prizes.
