“Traveler, open your bag, and let the stories of a lifetime unfold…”
- Louis Vuitton -

I’ve been attracted with such exquisiteness of Louis Vuitton ever since I was in my college years. I LVoe LV not because I want to own something that shows I’ve got money but because I love its patented and distinctive style that complements past, present and future concepts.

Yes, being able to buy Louis Vuitton items are one of the greatest indulgences that a man can experience. Even so, I'm not the typical person that can run out and drop several thousand pesos on a bag without blinking an eye- Like they bought designer bags to fit their lifestyle!

Sooner than I expected, I had my own collections. I really love the style and I appreciate the intended patterns and the materials being used. The pieces are well worth the initial $$, and it doesn't end up in the trash right away.

THE ART OF PACKING BY LOUIS VUITTON

I made my own research about Louis Vuitton and was even more fascinated with its affluent history thus, a journey through stories of a lifetime.

The story goes like this:
“In 1852, Napoleon’s wife, the Empress Eugenie de Montijo, a Spanish Countess hired the young Louis Vuitton as personal trunk-maker and packer and charged him with “packing the most beautiful clothes in an exquisite way.”

During its period, box-making and packing was a highly respectable and urbane craft. A box-maker and packer custom-made all boxes to fit the goods they stored and personally loaded and unloaded the boxes.”

Since then, the Legendary Art of Packing Methods of Monsieur Louis Vuitton has expanded and its legend has lived on as it continues to sustain the art of traveling and gives guidelines and teaches travelers on how to pack your own individual journey.”

“Because every journey is an adventure, every traveler has a story to tell”.

Yes, my next journey is located in CARAGA. Henceforth, I’ll be going to Surigao del Sur again in a few days and decided to use the Louis Vuitton Keepall 55 Bandouliere for a week-long journey.

Given this urban travel bag with sharp details of Damier Graphite canvas, I would like to try it as this iconic Keepall is said to be in fashion and suitable for any given occasions hence can be applied to travel most especially on a longer trips, a road trip for an instance.
The Keepall 55 is a simple and easy to carry large bag that makes travel with all the essentials a pleasure. Detailed feature includes the rounded handles with handle attachments and with a removable and adjustable strap with shoulder pad which is more practical when using, represented by a double zipper with a padlock ideal for much secure closure, and of course a cabin size of (WidthxHeightxDepth) 21.7 x 12.2 x 9.4 inches perfect for traveling.

CONFESSIONS OF A KEEPALL

Quote: “Each and every Louis Vuitton iconic bag has its own identity and embodies a different travel style. The Keepall is all about spontaneous trips. Its comfortable rounded handles, stylish line and timeless elegance have given the Keepall iconic status for over seventy years. This icon is an invitation to travel in itself.

Named for its large capacity, the bag was originally called the “Tientout” (“hold all” in French) and later changed to the Keepall (i.e. “Keep all”). The Keepall’s emblematic features, such as the Toron handles covered in high-quality natural cowhide leather, are unique and timeless. A true classic, the Keepall has become an icon of Louis Vuitton brand and has inspired many artists who have elegantly reinterpreted it over the years. Its timeless shape, lightness and practical way to carry still make it a favorite of travelers today.”- End Quote

Aside of the LV Keepall, I would be bringing the Louis Vuitton Brooklyn MM Damier Graphite canvas for my camera and lenses. I would love to have the Louis Vuitton Michael Backpack and even the Louis Vuitton Camera Bag with both Damier Graphite canvas however I couldn’t afford the items for now.

TRIVIA:
In 2008, Louis Vuitton released the Damier Graphite canvas. The canvas features the classic Damier pattern but in black and grey, giving it a masculine look and urban feel.

I came to a choice on using the Louis Vuitton stuff (instead of using a different “branded backpack”) not because I wanted to let somebody see that I have such designer items but more likely for a reason that I wanted to try the art of traveling using the legendary methods of Louis Vuitton. I would simply like to try such items if it’ll surely fit longer journeys. And if so, it would be a recommending factor from someone who owns the thing.

Recommendation will follow soon after the trip.
