Keep It Lite with Native Shoes- the Beast Free Footwear

Founded in 2009 by Damien Van Zyll de Jong, a Canadian man after a snowboarding trip two years ago, Native Shoes is a global footwear brand that exists to create happiness and enliven lives one Beast Free one step at a time with its key ingredient- lite-ness. Native Shoes Philippines with Primer Group of Companies recently launched its 2018 Holiday Collection at the 2nd Level, Centrio Mall-Ayala, Cagayan de Oro City, a collection of footwear mainly comprises of injection-molded EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) shoes.

Native Shoes with its vision of "Keep it Lite is a sentiment passed along from soul to sole, the idea that each wander can be made a wonder. Since 2009 we have strive to simplify your day, beautify your environment, and make you and those around you smile through your superlative choice in footwear. Through our simple formula of innovation, originality, and the key ingredient — lite-ness — "

While the footwear brand prefer to keep their designs simple and minimal, and will probably bring alternative designs in the near future, Native Shoes' mission of creating happiness is perfectly complemented with its beast free footwear.

WHAT IS BEAST FREE FOOTWEAR?

"Beast Free has been an integral part of our DNA since day one. Not a hair nor hide on any animal, anywhere, has been used in the creation of our product. We’ve even been certified by PETA as an approved vegan brand."

"Being Beast Free means respecting our animal and human friends equally. Beyond that, it means we respect the choices you make in your daily life, one of which is choosing which shoes to slip on before heading out the door."
Mr PJ Chua (Native Shoes Philippines Senior Brand Executive)
The event was graced by Mr PJ Chua, Native Shoes Philippines Senior Brand Executive, Mr Edgar Rabino (Mindanao Area Supervisor), Ms Norgelyn Bihag (Cluster Head),  store staffs, Centrio Mall-Ayala Marketing Team, Department of Tourism Region 10 Special Project Operations Manager Ms Maria Celestra Andres, and selected influencers such as Ms Nicole Abas-Datayan and Passionista's Ms Kitchie Uy, bloggers, and tri-media personalities.

Additionally, the event was celebrated with working moms and their playful kids for a game inspired by the show "Bet On Your Baby". My lovely wife together with our little princess #SofiaFyrstinde, my sister Faith and her playful #TheEhrs son were one of those invited guests to join the fun-filled evening.

I recently had the chance to check out their famous Apollo Moc, and Lennox collections. The AP Moc a.k.a. the "Future Classic" takes its inspiration from the first native walkers of the planet, and the modern-day artifact incorporates smooth microfiber, with soft polyester lining, and super foam perforated insole. On the other hand, the Lennox a.k.a. the "Urban Olympian" offers the aesthetically athletic sneaker built with 3-part injection molded EVA construction with dual density EVA, a product of the pavement. At the end, i chose the Urban Olympian than the Future Classic.

On the other hand, we bought these "Mischievous Genius", and "On the Wave" shoes. My daughter who was very excited to wear her newest shoes collection had chosen to have the Jefferson Slip-On sneakers with a hollywood pink/shell white color, the leader of lite-ness and Native's original EVA all-star, while my nephew had chosen the Miles, a true sibling to Native's longstanding Miller type.
