3rd MISOR FOTOFEST Kuyamis Festival 2020 Photography Competition's Top Winners

Competing with over a number of awesome entries, the MISOR FotoFest Kuyamis Festival Photography Competition has been an annual photography tradition that started in 2018 and had participated with a wide range of photographers across the province. Year after year, the MISOR FotoFest had been a challenging event and yet exciting for those photographers participating the friendly competition, and to be called the Grand Winners or be included to the Top Finalists and receive bigger and exciting prizes.

This year, the photography competition had three different categories: Conventional, Booth Display, and Mobile categories each with corresponding prizes to be received. While conventional and booth display categories uses DSLR, point and shoot, and/or Mirrorless system, the mobile category uses smartphones to capture images during the week-long celebration that started last January 06, 2020. 

Participating photographers from amateur to enthusiasts, hobbyists to professionals and award-winning lensmen had given until January 09, 2020 to submit their chosen entries but was extended the following day to give them more time to decide their submitted photos bringing this year's theme "Explore and Experience Kuyamis Festival 2020".

After the deadline, the submitted photos were then judged by well-known personalities that have the knowledge and wit not only in photography qualities but also from the richness of the culture, and arts of Misamis Oriental carrying the award-winning citations to their names.

For this year's competition, official entries were judged by the following criteria:
   - Adherence to the Theme (Relevance): 25%
   - Composition (Photography Elements): 25%
   - Photographic Quality (Creativity): 25%
   - Visual Impact (Wow Impact): 25%
A total of 100%

The TOP winners for the three differnt categories were announced during the clminating event of the 7th Kuyamis Festival 2020 held at the Provincial Capitol Grounds last January 11, 2020.

Grand Prize Winner for the conventional category received P20,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and Granite Gear Trolly Backpack from R.O.X. worth P4,490.00, Top 2 Winner received P10,000.00 cash plaque of award, and Dolly Camera Slider,  Top 3 Winner received P5,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and Reflector, Top 4 Winner received P3,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and Reflector, and Top 5 Winner received P2,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and Tripod. Meanwhile, the Top 6 to Top 10 winners received camera accessories, and tee shirts. 

For the mobile category, the Grand Prize Winner received P3,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and  Puluz Camera Quick Strap from E-Shop Camera and Accessories, Top 2 Winner received P2,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and shirt, and Top 3 Winner received Certificate of Award and camera accessories. 

Additionally, Grand Prize Winner for the Booth Category received P3,000.00 cash, plaque of award, and Vanguard ICS Vest from Carl's Buy N Sell worth P3,200.00 cash, Top 2 Winner received P2,000.00 cash, camera accessories, and plaque of award, and Top 3 Winner received Certificate of Award, and Tee shirt.
